Lettuce are a food Crop and a Resource. It can be found and grown in Arid and Desert Climates. It has also been found in Tropical climates.
Lettuce can be consumed to fulfil the Food Vital Need.
Like all food crops, Lettuce require a Civilization Point in 
Cultural Customs in order to be consumed, and at least 2 points in 
Cultural Skills in order to be grown in farms. It can always be gathered from wild crops without requiring Civilization Point investment into Cultural Skills.

A field annex built on 3 fertility produces approximately 0.15 lettuce per tick.
This yield can be increased by adding more Civilization Points to lettuce production, if the production skill for lettuce is maxed out you can acieve a yield of 0.45 lettuce per field annex (if placed on 3 fertility)(as of v0.3.1.x)
Lettuce annexes can be placed on fertilities ranging from 0 to 6, it is highly advised to place the annexes on a as high as possible fertility. Fertility 6 can be found near sources of water in the Arid and Desert biomes.
